Ben Jones - AKA: Cooter from the Dukes of Hazzard

I got the opportunity to meet Ben Jones at a car show a couple of years ago. Not only did he play Cooter on the TV show Dukes of Hazzard but he also spent time in the United States House of Representatives. When I met him he signed several things for me including this picture I took of the United States Capital. As he signed it he told me about getting to go up into the rotunda where most people don’t get to go and look out over Washington DC. He said the view was amazing. He signed the picture, “To Mr. Kelsey’s Class God Bless America! from ‘Cooter’ Ben Jones”
